Hosted in the atmosphere going to the Chinese New Year, ChinaNext Foundation is proud to present China Then and Now: A Musical Journey as one of the international China charity concert series 2015 Love Flows with Music which is taking place in Beijing, Shanghai and London

The London concert juxtaposes traditional and contemporary Chinese music, which are played on both traditional Chinese as well as Western instruments... The Silk String Trio is led by the internationally renowned virtuoso, Cheng Yu on the pipa (lute) and features Zhao Xiao on the erhu (fiddle) and Xu Muzi on the Guzheng (zither). They will perform a selection of traditional as well as popular and contemporary Chinese music. The concert also showcases three talented, award-winning young Chinese musicians: Chi-Ling Lok, piano, Jian Ren, violin, and Catherine Cheung, piano, who will perform Chinese solo and chamber music works by renowned contemporary Chinese composers.
